Nate Sterns is originally from Massachusetts. He has worked his way up through his diving career trying to surround himself with as many hard working and knowledgeable influences as possible, and has found himself incredibly fortunate to be amongst some of the best instructors in the Florida Keys.
Though he may have started diving as a fun hobby with his family, Nate quickly discovered he wanted to follow his hobby and turn it into a passion, thus leading to a career where he can wake up to palm trees every morning. In doing so, he has a massive love for instruction, conservation efforts (particularly Dive Against Debris), and a thirst for experience.
As for recreation, Nate considers any dive with at least one Christmas tree worm to be a success, though a Lionfish to admire and later eat wouldn’t hurt. Apart from that a quick stop at Tacos Jalisco’s makes for a perfect end to a perfect dive!
