Josh was born and raised in New England and stared diving in 2001 at just 10 years old. His father was a diver on a rescue dive team and decided to share the fun of diving with Josh. Josh’s open water dives were in a quarry in Canada in November, so he was born as a cold-water diver. After years diving in cold water, Josh took a trip to Key Largo and fell in love with the warm water.
After returning Josh signed up for his Divemaster course and began the journey into professional diving. Shortly after graduating from the Divemaster program, Josh signed up for his IDC. Within a few days of the start of the IDC Josh had the dream of becoming a PADI Course Director.
After just a few years, Josh was accepted into the PADI CDTC and his dream of becoming a Course Director became a reality. In 2019, Josh decided that it was time to transition from full time sales and marketing into the dive industry full time and packed up everything and moved to South Florida.
As a Course Director for the last 3 years, Josh certified over 1000 professional level students and achieved the prestigious Platinum Course Director Award twice. Josh’s favorite courses to teach are Underwater Photography Instructor, DPV Instructor, and Full-Face Instructor. Outside of diving, Josh is an avid gamer, car enthusiast, and Formula 1 Fan.
